We are now accepting HIMSS Delaware Valley Chapter Board Nominations! This is your opportunity to influence healthcare innovation and leadership in our community.

Are you interested in shaping the future of healthcare technology in our region? Delaware Valley HIMSS (DVHIMSS) seeks passionate and dedicated professionals to join our Board of Directors. We currently have six openings for a two-year term, beginning with the 2025-2026 membership year.

Eligible candidates must be current DVHIMSS chapter members, have attended at least one chapter event within the past year, and must not currently serve on another HIMSS chapter board or the national HIMSS board. If you meet these criteria, we would like to invite you to submit your nomination, including your HIMSS Member Number, professional bio, a statement highlighting your motivation for pursuing board membership, and a professional headshot.

I am honored to serve as the 2024-2025 DV HIMSS Board President!  We have an exciting year ahead. One of the greatest strengths of our DV HIMSS chapter is our member community, and this year, our focus will be on you, our members.

Healthcare technology is at a pivotal stage, and we need our members’ creativity, intuition, and innovation to get us there! Our job and responsibility is to challenge how we’ve supported the healthcare ecosystem. By actively contributing and engaging in DVHIMSS chapter events and discussions, you can help us reach our goal!

DV HIMSS Undergraduate Scholarship

The DV HIMSS Undergraduate Scholarship offers a $5,000 award to support students in healthcare sciences, allied health, technology, medical informatics, healthcare management, or healthcare public policy. Eligible applicants must be residents of or attending school in the Delaware Valley/Greater Philadelphia region.  Applicants must be currently enrolled in an eligible program and present proof of enrollment and good standing. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay, a letter of recommendation, and a resume/CV. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.
